Last vacation season we seen the rise in 'stacations' where people spent their vacation at or near their homes. This year, people want to get away, so this vacation season will be seeing the rise in 'multi-purpose' or 'multi-task' vacations. Not the leisurely lay-on-the-beach-and-do-nothing-vacations, but vacations that combine a destination with a life changing event, like destination weddings, or a vacation that combines a passion with a destination, like those designed specifically for runners. Several travel planning companies are offering vacation packages that make running the focus of the vacation destination. Sightsee through the city of your choice with your running shoes on and a city tour guide running by your side. Enticing vacation offers targeted for specific groups of people are on the rise. If you're a runner, there's a vacation designed with you in mind.
