The updated ponytail hairstyles for fall fashion are looser, with curls and wisps of hair that give this classic hairstyle a more updated and elegant look. A ponytail with waves is anything but boring. Set straight hair on large hot rollers or tone down the curls of curly hair with a large barrel curling iron to get long, flowing waves. Gather loosely at the nap of neck with a simple band or clasp, you want the long, wavy ponytail to be the focal point, not the hair restraint. Gather your hair in a loose side pony tail for fall evening wear. Allow some of the wavy hair around your face to remain free from the ponytail so it will frame your face. Hair volume is also a must for an updated ponytail hairstyle. Don't sleek your hair back and use large rollers to achieve the hair volume along with volumizing spray. Long-layered haircuts and wavy hair styles are in this fall fashion season, so put up the flat iron and bring out the large barrel curling iron for updated hairstyles. |
