Toboggans And Snow Sleds Make Yard Work Easier By Sue Doenim Toboggans and snow sleds are handy to have around even when it's not snowing. Piling small limbs, leaves and other yard debris on a toboggan or snow sled makes hauling them a lot easier. Place the shovel, rake, leaf blower and whatever yard or garden tool you need to use on the toboggan or snow sled and pull it across the yard. One trip to the shed and you can pull all your yard maintenance tools along with you. After raking leaves or trimming limbs, pile the debris on the toboggan or snow sled and haul away to the disposal location. Moving the trash cans, compost container, heavy flower pots, small patio furniture and so forth is made easier with the use of a toboggan or snow sled. They're lower to the ground than a wheel barrel, so the items don't have to picked up as high.
