Recycle Colorful Tissue Paper For Easter Basket Lining By Sue Doenim Here's an ideal way to recycle some of that colorful tissue paper that you may have on hand- shred it in your paper shredder and use it for Easter basket lining. The shredded tissue paper won't make as big of a mess as the fake synthetic grass that traditionally is used for Easter basket lining. If you don't have a paper shredder, just fold different colors of tissue paper into several thicknesses and cut quarter in strips length wise. If you prefer the tissue paper to be smaller, after it's cut into strips, cut it across at quarter inch intervals to make tissue paper confetti. The shredded tissue paper can also be recyled for use as a base for Easter decor' or to make a nest for other Easter decorations you may use in your home.
