Potpourri Recipe For Valentine's Day Roses
By Sue Doenim
Extend the enjoyment and the fragrance of your Valentine's Day roses by using this potpourri recipe after your Valentine's Day roses have dried and lost their original beauty. To make this potpourri recipe, you will need: Dry rose petals 1/4 cup of whole cloves 1 cup of whole allspice 10 cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces 8 bay leaves 4 whole nutmegs 3 tablespoons of star anise 2 tablespoons of whole cardamom pods Mix all the recipe ingredients together and place in a decorative bowl where you can see it and smell the spicy fragrance and be reminded of your gift of roses long after Valentine's Day is over. If your Valentine also gave you perfume for Valentine's Day, add a very drop of the perfume to the potpourri recipe for additional fragrance.

Great way to keep the Valentine's Day Love lingering longer, Sue. Thanks for sharing. Frederick
For a minute there I read Old Spice instead of allspice. I thought a whole cup of Old Spice would help with memories all right but not good memories. Knowing our dog she would probably drink this mixture and she is sweet enough already. Good recipe.
That sounds good enough to eat.
I agree with mulberry! I've never seen a potpourri recipe before. Keep up the good work.
