Pet Ownership Is Good For Your Health
By Sue Doenim
Pet ownership does more for you than provide you with a faithful companion who gives you unconditional love, owning a pet is actually good for your health. Statistics show that pet owners have lower blood pressure and lower stress levels than people who do not own pets. Lower blood pressure and lower stress levels translates into reduces risks of heart disease. The type of pet you own doesn't matter, any pet is good for your health. Your pet could have feathers, scales or fur, pets improve our mood and overall health. Pet ownership is a lifetime commitment to the pet we choose, but in return, the pet will add years to our lifetime.
