PAM Cooking Spray Makes Cut Tropical Flowers Last Longer

By Sue Doenim

Spray some PAM cooking spray on the next bouquet of cut tropical flowers that you receive if you want them to last longer. I know you're thinking, 'but I don't want to cook and eat them, I want to put them in a vase of water and look at them'. My point exactly.

Spraying PAM cooking spray on cut tropical flowers will seal the pores of the tropical flowers and prevent them from drying out so you can enjoy looking at them longer. Just mist a little PAM cooking spray (regular, not flavored) over the blooms of each tropical flower.

Try spraying a little PAM on cut Bird-Of-Paradise, Peacock Flower, Heliconia, and Ginger and see how much longer they will last.
