Keep Squirrels Out Of Bird Feeders With Plastic Milk Jugs
By Sue Doenim
We love feeding the birds so we can enjoy hearing their singing and watching their antics. The antics of the squirrels eating all of the bird seed and running the birds off, not so much. You can keep the squirrels out of your bird feeders by attaching a plastic milk jug to the feeder pole. Cut the bottom off of the plastic milk jug and slide it onto the bird feeder pole till the milk jug is about 1 foot from the feeder, right side up. Drill a hole through the mouth of the milk jug and attach it to the bird feeder pole with a screw. The squirrels will not be able to get past the milk jug and into the bird feeder. |
