Erase Dry, Cracked Heels With Pineapple Or Kiwi Skins
By Sue Doenim
Next time a pineapple or kiwi is peeled, save the peeling to use as a foot treatment to erase dry, cracked heels. The skins of pineapples and kiwis contain bromelain, which is a meat tenderizer, and the bromelain will naturally exfoliate the feet and erase the dry, cracked skin on heels. Rub the inside of the pineapple or kiwi skins on the bottom of the foot for five minutes. Focus on the foot areas that have the dry, cracked skin like heels, between toes or on calluses. At the end of five minutes, rinse feet with warm water, towel dry and apply a moisturizing foot lotion to help maintain skin softness. |
