Collar Your Cat For Safety By Sue Doenim Most cat owners don't like to put a collar on their cat. They fear that the cat will become entangled and choke to death on the collar. A justifiable fear, but also one that can be easily remedied with a breakaway cat collar and slide on tag. Nothing hanging down, nothing to entrap the cat. Most cat owner's argument about not placing a collar on their cat is that their cat is an indoor cat and never goes outside. Most indoor cats gravitate towards the door when it's being opened, it's the curiosity in the cat that makes them wonder what is on the other side of the door. Sooner or later, every owner of an indoor cat has had to deal with an escaped cat, unfortunately an escaped indoor cat is rarely found, especially if the cat is not collared. Collar your cat for her safety and your peace of mind.
